An Eco Tour

A very different tour for a very different year. Yes 2021 was different in many ways and we had to do things differently. One of these different things was our 6th class tour.

It took on a completely different form than our usual bus to a venue in a different county. This year we used what was on our doorstep. We met in Turlough and cycled on the Green-way to Castlebar Army Barracks. After some food and refreshments we made our way to Lough Lannagh where we met Steve from Mayo Adventure Experience. He coached us in kayaking and afterwards we enjoyed some pier jumping. Feedback was extremely positive from everyone which just goes to show that the simple things in life are often the best.
